Where do our classes take place?
Our group classes take place at our studio in Cutler Bay. Lessons can take place at our studio or at students' houses. Other arrangements are made on a case by case basis.
Who are our teachers?
Visit the ABOUT US page to read about our instructors.
Do I need an instrument to take lessons or participate in group classes?
In general, the answer is yes. If playing a string instrument though, if you don't have one yet, you can rent or purchase one from us. For other instruments, we can point you in the right direction for rental/purchase options.
Do I need a piano at home to take piano classes?
We always encourage children and adult students to learn on good acoustical instruments. However, we also understand that purchasing an acoustical piano is a serious financial commitment, and many parents want to give their kids a jump start in music classes before deciding to invest in a piano. In this case, some of our beginning students purchase a keyboard first, which works perfect to start.
We can't make it to group class this week. Can we make it up or get a refund?
Unfortunately, given the nature of scheduling, group classes cannot be made up. If you find yourself in a position where you have to miss multiple group classes, let us know and we can try and switch you to another day/time or credit your account for a group class later in the term/year.
Why Take Music Lessons as an Adult?
The answer is unique to everyone. Maybe you never had the opportunity before or maybe you want to understand what your children are learning. Maybe you just want to try something new. It is NEVER too late.
